"Dante," Am Can Ch. Council Cup's Dante's Alibi ROM, is bred and owned by Patti McDowell

After multiple BOB and Group wins, Dante was awarded the Newfoundland Club of America's Top Show Dog award as well as the Pedigree Award as Top Show Dog of 2001. So far 18 of his winning offspring have finished their AKC Championships, earning Dante NCA Register of Merit status. Dante recently received the Newfoundland Club of America’s (NCA) Top Producing Sire award for 2006.  Dante and 11 of his offspring have met the NCA’s CHIC requirements for health testing.

So far Dante, 2 of his siblings, 18 of his offspring, 10 of his grandchildren, and 3 of his great-grandchildren have all donated blood sample DNA to the CHIC DNA Repository for canine health research.
