OFA Champion of Health Coda

This month’s Champion of Health is the Harrier, Ch. Downhome Family Tradition, "Coda," owned by Dr. & Mrs. William Truesdale & Susan Lowder, bred by Susan Lowder, Jeff & Barbara Fox and Linda Johnston and handled by Kim Pastella.  Coda first came to the attention of the dog show fancy when he won a Group First from the Bred-by Exhibitor class for a 5 point major. A few weeks later he was WD & BOW at the Harrier Club of America National Specialty. Coda has gone on to win 29 All Breed Best In Shows, is the top winning Harrier in history, and completed 2008 as the #1 Hound in America. Coda is not only a 3rd generation National Specialty winner, but also represents 3 generations of Harriers with both OFA and CERF clearances.
