OFA Champion of Health Henry

We are pleased to present the Veteran Field Spaniel, Ch. Marshfield’s Boys’ Night Out, CD, RA (“Henry”) as our September Champion of Health. Henry is owned by Arlene Cohen, and was bred by Eileen Griffin and Dottie Slattery. Although Arlene had competed in Junior Showmanship as a teenager, Henry was Arlene’s first showdog in 30 years. He won his first group placement at 18 months of age, and has been winning ever since – even as a Veteran. Retiring at age 12, Henry was the winner of 6 National Specialties, 11 All Breed Best In Shows, 154 Group Placements, 51 Group Ones, and a Westminster Kennel Club Group Placement in 2002.

As a sire, Henry’s offspring have continued his success in the ring winning Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex, Winners Dog, and Winners Bitch at the National Specialty.

On the health front, Henry has met all the Parent Club criteria for CHIC, and has sired numerous OFA certified offspring including 3 that have met the CHIC criteria.

Henry’s record in the ring, as a producer, and his longevity make him an idea OFA Champion of Health!
