Penny, Kuvasz Champion of Health

HOF BISS CH Szumeria’s One For The Money, CD RAE NAP NJP CGC TT COAA OOAA VOAA, (Penny)

For June 2011 we are pleased to feature the mother/son Kuvasz team of Ch. Szumeria's One For The Money (Penny) and her son Ch. Szumeria's Wildwood Silver Sixpence (Tanner) as our Champions of Health.

"Penny", CH Szumeria's One For The Money, CD RAE NAP NJP CGC, is owned by Bea & Clay Page, along with her breeders Lynn Brady and Connie Townsend. Penny's accomplishments include #1 Kuvasz All Systems; National Specialty Show winner; AKC titles in obedience, agility & rally; and Top Kuvasz of the Year in Versatility. She met the breed's CHIC requirements with OFA Good hips, normal elbows & normal thyroid. Additionally, she has CERF'd normal and has OFA health clearances for cardiac, patella & PRA. Penny has also proven to be an outstanding producer as the dam of two Best in Show winners, and dam of multiple CHIC certified offspring.

Penny's son, "Tanner", Ch. Szumeria's Wildwood Silver Sixpence, is owned by Mercedes Vila, along with Lynn Brady, Connie Townsend & Claudia Muir. His breeders are Bea & Clay Page, Lynn Brady, and Connie Townsend. Tanner is the top winning Kuvasz in breed history with a record to date of 13 all breed Best In Shows, and 3 National Specialty Show wins. Tanner has OFA Excellent hips, and normal elbows, thyroid, cardiac, and CERF. He is PRA normal by parentage, and has met the parent club requirements for CHIC certification.

Together, they are an outstanding representation that healthy parents produce healthy offspring.
