For our September 2012 Champion of Health, we are pleased to feature one of the newest breeds participating in the CHIC program, the Komondor, Ch. Nagyalma Unforgettable Too. "Cole" was bred by Nancy and Eric Liebes, is owned by Audrey White and Val McNelis, and handled by Carlos Puig. Cole finished his championship owner-handled in just 4 shows, with 3 majors at Komondor Club of America supported entries. He was BOB at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship show in 2010, AOM at Westminster in 2011, BOB at Westminster in 2012, and is both an all breed BIS and specialty BOB winner. Cole was the first Komondor to obtain the grand champion title and on the health front, the first Komonodor to obtain CHIC certification. Cole's health screening includes normal CERF eye exams, normal OFA elbows, full dentition, and OFA excellent hips. His sire and dam also have OFA excellent hips, his dam is also a CHIC dog, and Cole is the sire of CHIC offspring.
