Ch Grand Cru Clos Erasmus
This month, we are pleased to feature the beautiful Greyhound bitch, Ch Grand Cru Clos Erasmus, as our Champion of Health. "Era" is bred and owned by Melanie Steele and Rindi Gaudet, and owner-handled by Rindi. Era's accomplishments in the ring are stellar. She has won multiple specialty shows, over 50 Group Firsts, and 15 Best In Shows. She was the Hound Group Winner at the 2009 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship Show, and Group 2nd at the 2010 Westminster KC Show. She even took time out earlier this year to whelp her first litter of puppies. On the health front, Era is the first Greyhound to meet the club's CHIC requirements. Her owner Melanie is a long term advocate of canine health and has served on multiple foundation boards including the AKC Canine Health Foundation and the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine Foundation.
