Ian, April 2012 champion of Health

Ch Spotlight’s Ruffian

Our April Champion of Health is the Dalmatian, Ch. Spotlight’s Ruffian. “Ian” was bred by Connie Wagner, and is owned by Jim and Barbara Lyons.

Ian finished 2011 as the Number One Dalmatian all systems, one of the top ten Non Sporting dogs, and in the Top 100 of all the breeds. His record included breed wins at Westminster and Eukanuba, 41 Group Ones, multiple All Breed Best in Shows, multiple Specialty Best of Breeds, and Select Dog at the DCA National. He began the 2012 show season with an impressive Group One at the Westminster KC.

Ian has met and exceeded the parent club’s CHIC health screening requirements including normal hearing, hips, elbows, thyroid, and eyes. His sire and dam are also CHIC dogs, and Ian has sired several CHIC offspring.
